Workshops
The 5 workshops in this curriculum are designed to be taught as a series to provide a platform for not only relationship building between cultural heritage staff and their local first responders but also between all cultural heritage institutions in a region. Teaching all 5 workshops also allows participants the time and encouragement to work on completing a useful disaster plan and provides them with the training to more ably respond to a disaster.
Each workshop is designed to cover the critical material for each topic with most having both lecture and hands-on activities. The subject matter has been kept general allowing future users to bring in their own regional concerns. Where there is material particular to Massachusetts, notes are made in the trainers materials to exchange this material with local specifics.
While the ideal is to teach all 5 workshops, each workshop in this program can stand on its own.
