Invest in quality
Don't skimp if you are buying mobile items. Never purchase something until you’ve seen and pushed it around, fully loaded, yourself – or at least spoken to a librarian who has personally used the item.
In general, the larger and more heavy-duty the caster, the easier it is to move. Especially with mobile shelving, if it’s hard to move, it won’t get moved, and you’ll have spent a lot of money for little value.
