Census 2020 in Massachusetts: The Census Questionnaire

Census Questionnaire Facts

The 2020 Census will NOT ask someone:

  • their citizenship status
  • their Social Security number
  • for money or donations
  • anything on behalf of a political party
  • for bank or credit card account numbers

The 2020 Census will ask:

  • how many people are living or staying at your home on April 1, 2020 and whether the home is owned or rented
  • the name, sex, age, race of each person in your home
  • whether a person in your home is of Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish origin
  • About the relationship of each person in your hom
