In order to qualify for a grant, your project must be an Approved Public Library Project (see the definition in the regulations) which has been approved by a majority vote of Town Meeting or City Council. More information about the types of town/city approval are on the Required Approvals tab (next page). For dates and detailed information, see the Program Notice.
Eligible projects include new construction, addition/renovation, renovation, and conversion (of a non-library building). Construction grants are not intended to fund repair or maintenance projects.
